A New Year means a new chapter. In 2022, ITTA will focus on addressing the socio-economic impact of COVID-19, industrial safety and supply chain issues, the path to "carbon neutrality" and digital transformation. And make greater efforts in the following areas:
First, ITTA will increase its investment to help members and partners deal with the uncertainties caused by COVID-19. In 2022, IFTA's COVID-19 survey, IFTA Communications, and IFTA webinars, as information sharing tools, will continue to provide new data, industry practices and insights to its global members, and guide the industry's response to the crisis.
Drugo, itTA će nastaviti da poziva ekonomije da se obavežu na otvorenu saradnju kako bi se smanjile trenutne trgovinske tenzije i održao globalni multilateralni trgovinski sistem, podržavajući tako ekonomski rast i radna mjesta. Recommendation: Establish a working mechanism led by the SECRETARY-GENERAL of ITTA, focusing on GHG emission standards for the textile industry in different countries and regions and low carbon product standard identification system for textile products; Actively explore the "shortcut" to establish think tanks in specific fields, and strengthen open and inclusive ties with industry-related international organizations or multilateral mechanisms.
